Lotus Royal
$1,060.00 – $1,715.00Price range: $1,060.00 through $1,715.00
Lotus Royal began with an exceptionally rare Blue Lotus oil, discovered through a unique distillation unlike anything experienced before. Blue Lotus forms nearly one-third of the concentrate, creating a cool, airy and luminous floral opening. Frangipani and rose add creamy tropical richness, while lavender, fresh herbs, cinnamon and nutmeg introduce aromatic freshness and subtle warmth. As the fragrance develops, smoky wild oud, rare jungle woods and aged patchouli gradually emerge, transforming the ethereal floral heart into something darker and more mysterious. Benzoin, ambergris and deer musk create a warm, smoky and slightly animalic drydown, while traces of Blue Lotus remain luminous above the woods.

The Fragrance Experience
Absolue Précieux.
50% Extract
Blue lotus is one of the most difficult floral materials around which to build an entire perfume. Yet when presented within the right composition, it can also be one of the most beautiful and luxurious.
After the first three fragrances began to define the character of the Royal Collection, I started thinking about its fourth creation and the material that could bring an entirely different personality to the collection. This is where the idea of blue lotus began.
I started searching for an exceptional variety, and through a dear friend, I discovered a blue lotus oil completely unlike any other I had experienced before—a special distillation with a unique aroma and character.
Reaching the distiller behind it was extremely difficult, as was communicating with him, particularly because he spoke only his own language. But when I experienced this blue lotus for the first time, I knew it was the material I had been searching for. Its aroma was entirely different, revealing a facet of blue lotus I had never encountered in any other oil.
Despite the difficulty of communicating and obtaining it, I waited until we were finally able to secure enough to create the perfume.
This is where Lotus Royal began.
The first impression is cool blue lotus – airy, watery and almost luminous. There is something unusually serene about the opening, with the lotus surrounded by soft exotic florals rather than the typical clean aquatic notes found in modern fragrances.
Blue lotus forms nearly one-third of the fragrance concentrate, allowing its presence to remain clear and persistent throughout every stage of the perfume, even as the dark woods and oud begin to emerge.
As the fragrance opens, frangipani and rose make an appearance, accentuating different facets of the lotus. The floral character becomes warmer and more exotic, with a beautiful creamy tropical quality underneath the cool lotus.
A subtle aromatic freshness then cuts through the florals — blue-green woods, lavender and fresh herbs — followed by a delicate veil of warm spices. Cinnamon and nutmeg give the heart just enough warmth to make the cool floral opening feel much more dimensional.
And then the oud begins to emerge in earnest – it was there from the start, but designed to fully unveil later.
The transition is slow and deliberate: the luminous lotus gradually sits above smoky wild oud, dark woods and patchouli. What started as an almost ethereal floral becomes increasingly mysterious.
The final drydown is where Lotus Royal really changes character. Wild oud, jungle woods, patchouli, benzoin, ambergris and deer musk create a warm, smoky and slightly animalic base, while traces of the blue lotus remain above it.
Lotus Royal is therefore less about a single dominant note than a transformation — from cool blue lotus and tropical flowers into dark smoky woods and natural ambergris, all washed in varying hues of blue.
It starts almost weightless, and finishes anything but.
