The first edition of Kinam Nights was released in an extremely limited quantity, leaving many who wanted it unable to obtain a bottle.

As time passed and the fragrance received the maturation and settling it deserved, its beauty grew and its layers became deeper and more harmonious. I believe that everyone who still owns a bottle today is now experiencing the fragrance in one of its most beautiful stages.

With the continued demand for a new edition, I decided that Kinam Nights should return in a second version.

My greatest priority this time was to give the fragrance an exceptionally long period of maturation before its release, allowing it to reach its owner fully ready from the very first spray, with its materials completely integrated and its character settled.

Kinam Nights V2 preserves the spirit and identity of the first edition, but arrives darker in both color and aroma, with greater strength, warmth, weight and depth.

The fragrance opens with Madinah mint—green, cool and refreshing—accompanied by the distinctive aromatic character of Madinah basil. This cool herbal opening moves through the air like the first breeze of a quiet evening, slowly preparing the way for the roses and kinam.

As the initial greenery begins to soften, a natural aromatic facet resembling black tea rises from within the Hainan kinam itself. Dark, warm and still carrying the trace of mint from the opening, it gives the fragrance that familiar impression of black tea with mint, yet it emerges from the character of the kinam and its evolution within the composition.

The layers of rose then begin to unfold. Crimean rose meets Turkish and Taif roses, forming a rich and multidimensional floral heart. Crimean rose brings clear radiance, Turkish rose adds richness and fullness, while Taif rose contributes its dewy and refined character.

Beneath these layers, Crimean Rose Absolute appears with velvety depth alongside Turkish Rose Absolute, making the heart darker, warmer and denser than in the first edition.

Hainan oud emerges between the roses with soft fruity facets, bringing natural sweetness and woody depth that balance the green aromatic freshness of the mint and basil.

Crystalline Hainan kinam then reveals its character: green, cool and penetrating, with the distinctive medicinal clarity of kinam. It does not appear separately from the materials around it, but moves through the roses and Hainan oud while carrying that dark, black-tea-like facet, giving the heart its radiance, clarity and depth.

At one moment, the black tea character emerging from the kinam reaches you with a breeze of Madinah mint. At another, green kinam appears surrounded by Crimean, Turkish and Taif roses. The fruity facets of Hainan oud then move forward before the kinam returns once again with greater purity and coolness.

As the fragrance settles, its character becomes darker and warmer. Creamy kinam emerges with deep aromatic richness, while the rose absolutes give the base a velvety texture and lasting density.

Deep within the composition, raw kinam wood remains present, connecting every stage of the fragrance to its origin. The greenness of the mint and basil gradually recedes, but their traces continue to move quietly between the roses, oud and kinam for many hours.

Kinam Nights V2 is the spirit of the first edition made darker, stronger and warmer: mint and basil open the scene, a black tea facet rises from the kinam itself, and layers of rose and Hainan oud surround it before creamy kinam settles over raw kinam wood.

Strange yet familiar.
